10 greatest unsolved Mysteries of World

In this modern era many mysteries have been solved with the regular work in various fields, like science, technology, history etc. Like we know about origin of earth, what is beyond our sky and things like that which were once mystery for us. But there are some mysteries of world which has not been solved yet. Here I bring you some of the unsolved mysteries of world which you also would have been unknown of.

  1. BERMUDA TRIANGLE - Most of us know about Bermuda Triangle. This is not a visual triangle but it is an invisible area having its ends at three corners Florida, Bermuda and San Juan(Puerto Rico). Pilots often tell that their instruments going haywire. Many ships have been lost in the sea while passing through this area. Many hypothetical explanations were made including alien stories, gas bubbles, Hyper gravitational force etc, but stills its a mystery.
  2.  THE TAOS HUM - In a small town of Taos, New Mexico,In the small town of Taos, New Mexico, there is a certain buzz often heard on the horizon that can be compared to the sound of a distant diesel engine. Although it can be heard by the naked ear, various sound detection devices are not able to pick it up.   3. LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI - He died an unexplainable death since he left the country healthy. Many have claimed that he died of heart attack, but the doctors and other specialists who have checked him out, including his wife, confirmed that he was A-okay. His wife had also made the assertion that the Tashkent Pact, upon signature, gave the chance for him to be poisoned. This was never proven since there was no post-mortem diagnosis of the body so every assumption that could be answered were already included in the grave. 
  4. DB COOPER - When DB Cooper hijacked a Boeing 727 along with $200,000, he proceeded to jump out of the plane with a parachute. He was never found, however, and this remains the only unsolved case in US aviation history.
  5. VOYNICH MANUSCRIPT - The Voynich manuscript was written in a language that men through the centuries have tried to decode to no avail. The only idea anyone has of its origin are the drawings found on various pages. 
  6. SHEPHERD'S MONUMENT INSCRIPTION - In Staffordshire, England, there is a sculpture that has invited the wits and intellect of many intellectuals in an attempt to decode an inscription reading DOUOSVAVVM. Although the Shepherd’s Monument was constructed back in the 18th century, the letters found therein were never solved, even 250 years after it was completed.
  7.  GEORGIA GUIDESTONES - Also identified as the American version of Stonehenge, the Georgia Guidestones located in Elbert County are shrouded in mystery, although they were erected only in 1979. Written on the walls are 10 “new commandments” written in English, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, China, Russia, and Spanish although no one is sure why or for whom they were meant.
  8. STONEHENGE - Though Stonehenge is very fascinating structure with rocks atop on other, the mystery behind it is not how are they kept like this but, why.
  9. EXTRATERRESTRIALS - From the mysteries found in the Eastern Islands, to the Bermuda Triangle, and even with the Roswell Incident during World War II, men have always been in question as to whether we are not alone in the universe. With some claiming to have been abducted and others calling hogwash, there is as of yet no consensus.
  10. WOW! SIGNAL -  When Jerry R. Ehman worked under the SETI Project of the Ohio Wesleyan University’s Perkins Observatory, he did not expect that he would be able to pick up a radio frequency supposedly coming from deep space. He was able to get a 72-second signal from the constellation Sagittarius and was never able to get it again. Up to this day no one is sure about the origin of the signal. It derived its name, however, from the “wow!” that Jerry wrote in the margin of the printout.

10 Amazing facts about Animals

From a tiny fly to the big Blue Whale, every single creature in thus world possesses some unique quality that makes it stand out from the rest. There are some amazing facts about these living creatures that is definitely going to astound you.

  1. OSTRICH - You may have heard about Ostriches and many of you must have seen them also, but did you know that Ostriches can run faster than horses, and also male ostriches can roar like a lion. So next time if you hear a roar that might be a male Ostrich also.
  2. TIGER - Tiger, the national animal of India. Did you know that the Tiger not only have stripes on his fur but also on his skin and no two tigers have same stripes. 
  3. ELEPHANT - Did you know that Elephants can smell water up to 3 miles and are among those three mammals that undergo menopause, the other two being Humpback Whale and Human females.
  4. KANGAROO - Those who have visited Australia, must have seen  Kangaroo. But most of us don't know that Kangaroo uses his tail for balancing, so if you lift the tail of Kangaroo it can't hop.
  5. BEAVER - Most of us know who Beavers are, but did you know a beavers teeth keeps growing and never stops. To manage length of his teeth a Beaver constantly gnaw on objects, if they stop to do so, their teeth can grow into their brain.
  6. SNAIL - We all are familiar what is a snail. But did you know that if one eye of snail gets damaged they can grow a new one. How interesting, wish if we'd have that ability too.
  7. HUMPBACK WHALE - If you are thinking that the three year old living at your neighbor makes loudest sound in  the world, then think of it again because there is a mammal called Humpback Whale creates the loudest sound of any mammal.
  8. DOG - Did you know that dogs have unique prints on their nose same like fingerprints of humans and every dog has unique pattern on his nose. So, now we can find the dog by his noseprints only if they maintain some database of that.
  9. SEA HORSE - We all know that sloth, snail these creatures are very slow, but did you know there are fishes named Sea Horses are the slowest among all. They move at a speed of 0.01 mph. Oh what a relief to Sloth and Snail.
  10. HUMMING BIRD - Humming birds are the only birds that can fly backwards and their wing can beat up to 80 times per second. No wonder from where that hum sound comes from when a Humming bird is near.

10 Amazing facts of Taj mahal

The Taj Mahal, it is not just a building or monument but also this is the legacy of India given by Shah Jahan, a mughal emporer, in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal, hence the name Taj mahal. This is an eye catching monument for tourists from all over the world. Many of us know a little about Taj. But the facts that most of the people still dont know about taj, is my topic today. Here I share some amazing facts about Taj


  1. It took 22,000 workers, 1000 elephants and 21 years(1632-1653) to build Taj Mahal.
  2. The cost of making the Taj Mahal was 32 million Rupees according to the currency of that time. And according to the currency of this time it worth approx 53 billion rs(US$ 827 million). 
  3. After the death of Mumtaj Mahal (the third and the most favorite wife of Shah Jahan who died while giving birth to the 14th child) Shah Jahan decided to build Taj Mahal as the mausoleum for Mumtaj Mahal and thus at the center of this marvelous monument, lies the grave of Mumtaj Mahal.
  4. After death of Shah Jahan, his dead body was also kept in Taj Mahal with the grave of Mumtaj Mahal.
  5. The Taj Mahal is the live proof of wonders of engineering of that time. It was built under the guidance of the architect of empire of that time, Ustad Ahmad lahauriThe foundation of taj mahal lies on the Bank of river Yamuna and whole Taj stands on wooden foundation.
  6. The four minarates at the four corners are so designed that they tilt outwards, thus if they collapse then they would not destroy the main tomb.
  7. Many precious stones were used for interior decoration of the Taj Mahal which later were ripped off by Britishers during the Indian rebellion of 1857.
  8. The four sides of the Taj Mahal are perfectly identical creating an astonishingly mirrored image on each side. It uses the principles of self-replicating geometry and symmetry of architectural elements
  9. The Taj Mahal takes different coloring at different times of the day, pinkish in the morning, milky white at evening and golden at night. It is said that the color changing of the Taj Mahal resembles changing mood of females- in particular the Emperor's queen. 
  10. It is believed that Shah Jahan had planned to construct the replica of the Taj Mahal in black on the other side of the Taj Mahal. But due to war with his son the idea never took the shape of reality.
